Linus Andersson

...is a filmmaker based in northern Sweden. Since 2010 he runs the production company Lampray. While working with information, documentary, TV and commercials, he has always kept his love for fictional film and his belief in fulfilling crazy dreams. Productions by Andersson include THE EGG (2012), REEL (2013) and KUNG FURY (2015).

Anna Brüggemann

Munich-born Brüggemann spent 4 of her childhood years in South Africa and began her professional career by playing the main role in Lutz Konermann’s television film VIRUS X. Now at 33, her acting credits encompass more than 60 films for cinema and television including Carsten Fiebeler’s KLEINRUPPIN FOREVER and BERGFEST directed by Florian Eichinger, Marcus Imboden’s EIN DORF SUCHT SEINEN MÖRDER and the TATORT  episode VORSTADTBALLADE from Martin Enlen. In Sebastian Schipper’s foursome MITTE ENDE AUGUST, Brüggemann plays the part of Augustine.  

Together with her brother Dietrich Brüggemann, Anna also wrote screenplays for the cinema films NEUN SZENEN, RENN, WENN DU KANNST, DREI ZIMMER, KÜCHE, BAD which he then directed while she took up position in front of the camera.
In 2014, both siblings were conferred with the Silver Bear at the Berlinale for their screenplay KREUZWEG.

Dietrich Brüggemann's latest feature, the neo-Nazi satire HEIL hit the German screens in July 2015, in which Anna plays the role of Doreen Seiler.

Jan Harlan

...joined Stanley Kubrick in 1969 for a film on Napoleon, which was unfortunately abandoned. He later was Exec Producer on all Kubrick films from Barry Lyndon onwards and worked on other unrealised projects with Stanley Kubrick. After Kubrick’s death in 1999 he worked with Steven Spielberg on “A.I. Artificial Intelligence” and made documentaries about Stanley Kubrick and the actor Malcolm McDowell for Warner Bros. and a film about the Dvorak Cello Concerto with an international youth orchestra as well as other short films with students. Jan is a guest-lecturer at different film-schools in Europe and often serves in juries at film-competitions. He is also much involved with THE STANLEY KUBRICK EXHIBITION, which tours the world with phenomenal success.

Chris Landreth

...started his adult life as a mechanical engineer,  until he decided in 1990 that animation would be much more fun.  He's created several CG-animated short films, including The End (1995), Bingo (1998), Ryan (2004), and The Spine (2009).  Ryan received the Academy Award in 2005 for Best Animated Short Film, and 60 other international awards. Chris's films explore storytelling based on human psychology as much as photorealistic character animation, an approach Chris calls “psychorealism”.

Chris Raiber

Born in Vienna, Austria in 1973, he grew up in a small room in a small house with a small garden. He gained his first film experience with Austrian television before deciding to study directing and dramaturgy in Los Angeles. Through the creation of commercials, music videos, short films, long and short books he has shaped and moulded his own particular narrative and visual style over the last 15 years.

Erik Schmitt

...was initially born in 1980 in Mainz. He quickly started to study the many forms of communication in Geneva, Munich and Melbourne but was successfully lured into the capital. He completed his studies of communication sciences at the FU Berlin. At some point he learned to use the camera not only as walking stick, and started KAMERAPFERD together with Stephan Müller.

Astra Zoldnere

...is a Latvian film director, curator and publicist. In her line of work practical and theoretical aspects of film interact with each other. Astra holds an MA degree in film directing from Baltic Film and Media School. Her shorts „Treasures of the Sea” (2013) and „All My Dead” (2014) have been shown in many film festivals and have received some prizes. Since 2015 Astra is the Program Director of Riga International Film Festival 2ANNAS.

Gabriele Brunnenmeyer

... has been working as a free-lanced project and script consultant for the Kuratorium Junger Deutscher Film, a funding body for first and second films by German young talents since 2005. Formerly the artistic director of the co-production market Connecting Cottbus, she now works as consultant and trainer for script development, packaging and project presentation for independent projects as well as for Talent Campus Berlin and Sarajevo, Meeting on the Bridge, the Robert Bosch Coproduction Prize and others.

Wim Vanacker

...is the Head of the Script Department of the European Network of Young Cinema NISI MASA which hosts the annual European Short Pitch. He is into numerous fields within the world of film including directing, producing and programming. Before taking the Chair of the Script Department he was the leading project coordinator for NISI MASA’s European Short Pitch.
